How are glass awards personalised?

Glass can be sandblast-engraved or UV printed with your logo and text. Engraved glass awards have a timeless etched look, while colour printing adds vibrancy. Be aware that many “trophy shops” use a surface laser-engraving on glass, which chips the glass and has an inferior result compared to sandblasting, which has a sharp, detailed finish. Colour paint fill can also be added to sandblast engravings for added contrast and brand appeal.

What’s the difference between glass and crystal awards?

Glass typically comes in sheets up to 19mm thick, resulting in thinner awards that usually require mounting to a base. While glass awards are elegant, they generally have a lighter, more understated appearance. Crystal, in its raw form, comes in blocks, which allows for awards to be much thicker and free-standing.
