How are crystal awards personalised?

Crystal trophies can be engraved with text, logos, or intricate artwork on their surface. Engraved crystal awards are timeless, while 3D laser engraving creates an image floating inside the piece. UV printing is also available for full coloured artwork.

Do crystal trophies come in different shapes and sizes?

Yes. Crystal can be cut into cubes, towers, globes, or waterjet cut into intricate custom forms. Because they are custom made, we can adjust the size and shape to suit your logo, text or background artwork. Some clients prefer a combination of crystal with timber or metal for a modern blend of materials.

What’s the difference between crystal and glass trophies?

“Crystal, in its raw form, comes in blocks, which allows for thicker and free-standing awards. It offers superior clarity, weight, and brilliance compared to standard glass. It can be 3D imaged, deep carved and is available in a wide range of colours which can be bonded to make an elegant and brand centric award.
In contrast, glass typically comes in sheets from 10-19mm thick, resulting in thinner awards that usually require mounting to a base. They can be clear or have a rich green hue, depending on their level of processing. These are not suitable for 3D Imaging, but the rich green glass does provide a great contrast if the artwork or text is being etched of engraved
There is not the same range of colours available, but glass and crystal can be joined to make unique colour combinations While glass awards are also elegant, they generally have a lighter, more understated appearace. Yes. While crystal is durable and scratch-resistant, if corners or edges are bumped, it will chip or shell. Crystal is more delicate than timber, metal or acrylic, but with careful handling and display, your award will last a lifetime.
